My wife and I were on a small walk. It was midday, getting closer towards the evening. She received a text from her friend saying that the University is holding some sort of small little pop-up parade. Lot's of little huts will be there selling various items and some will be selling food. I was a little hesitant to go at first but my wife managed to convince me. We started going and passed a few of the huts until the police came up to us and decided to do a search on us. It was sudden, and this did not happen to any one. My wife and I had to remove all the things that were in our pockets and show proof we had no weapon of any kind. The cop noticed we did not and walked away. There was a little pop-up gun shop and I made sure to avoid it so that we do not get in trouble during this fair. We continued to walk and we decided to go to this little dance/party area. Luckily my wife and I had extra clothes. We changed into them and went to the "party". We had a good time there and decided it was time to leave. My wife and I continue to walk our way, and her friend and friend's man were with us. We were conversing here and there as we continued to walk. We kind of just wanted to see things around us. It was a chill time. Then we got to this ally way. It looked kind of sketchy. I warned of our going, but nonetheless I said we should be fine. As we were beginning to walk there were these two guys on a bike that saw us and immediately started coming after us in a malicious manner. We turned away. Thankfully it was just a fear tactic. We try to walk around and avoid the alley. That group of people were also covering the streets. I thought to myself how cowardly they had to be in order to block a street to steal from people. Again, they saw us and started going towards us. I get in front of my wife to make sure I protect her. I move slightly and kick the bike. The person riding falls and is in pain. I look at my wife and her friends and tell them we must run. We do run. The guy I dropped to the ground calls for help and we are now being chased by a bunch of people on bikes. I steal the bike from the guy on the floor and make a run for it. I put my wife on the bike and I'm directing her. We keep avoiding them and are making good time to leave them. They do not seem to be catching up very well, until we started coming across areas they begin closing. They run the whole neighborhood it seems. They call others in their group and begin to close areas and streets, not allowing us to escape. I see an opening and make sure my wife gets through. I tried, but my big head could not fit through the fence. I tell my wife to leave, and that I will catch up. She pedals as fast as she can in order to not be caught. I turn around and start looking for other ways to exit. I ask for directions, but no one wants to help me. The gates close around me and I realize I have no choice but to fight. There was so many of them and luckily none had weapons. I start fighting them. I hit one, I dodge another and kick another. I knocked out a few, some were hesitant in coming back in to fight me because of how hard I hit them. A big one comes at me. I didn't want to fight but he swings, misses and I return a punch of my own. Then I get a deep sense of fear that if I don't hurry and protect my wife, something really bad can happen to her. That scared me and further enticed me to fight harder. I did and immediately woke up to make sure she was safe.
